The Silver Regiment is the marching band of Lake Howell High School. It is the combined membership of the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensembles, Jazz Band, and Color Guard. With an annual membership of over 120 students, the Silver Regiment is a musical marching unit organized to provide artistic and entertaining performances for football games, parades, pep rallies, concerts and competitions.

As per state standards and guidelines, membership in the Silver Regiment is required of all students involved in the Lake Howell Band Program. It is an integral part of instrumental music education at Lake Howell and requires total dedication, commitment and involvement in all aspects.

The Silver Regiment rehearses on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 8:30 P.M. and Thursdays from 3:00 – 5:30 P.M. Due to Thursday games, rehearsals on that day will be moved to Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:30 P.M.

Additional weekly rehearsals take place for members in the Color Guard and Percussion section, and members of the Woodwind and Brass may have additional “rotating” rehearsals after school throughout the fall.
